I’ve been to this place 4 times in a month, ordered different things and everything felt so fresh, homey and oh-so-tasty!! AND the portion is humongous as compared to the price. Even the drinks (jasmine tea) is full of natural fragrance and so thirst-rendering. As someone with sensitive stomach and taste buds I can tell you they definitely didn’t put preservatives or whatever artificial flavourings like most restaurants would. The food is also freshly prepared for each customer not from some pre-made or packaged foods. Now this place truly feels like my second home other than my own kitchen!!! Highly recommend .
I've been here 21 times since February 2022, and this is some of the best food I've ever ate, and the prices are great, too. You can get a bowl of Pho or Bun Bo Hue for 7.50 while most other places nearby charge over 11, and you get generous portion sizes here too. The Bun Bo Hue is one of their best meals and has an amazing "strong but subtle" taste that will leave wanting to come back. The Pho is deliciously authentic and the noodles have a perfect texture. The Bahn Mi is loaded with food and flavour and is a bigger portion than expected. The Bubble Tea tastes amazing and is better than most dedicated Bubble Tea shops. Overall, the food is unbeatable, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is geat. This family run restaurant is perfect for dates too. I'm definitely going back another 21 times. The best vietnamse hot soup noodle in whole Liverpool. Everyone want to try Vietnamese traditional dishes should come here. The taste is the most closet to Vietnam’s taste. The price is reasonable and cheaper than others and it’s worthy. Also, if you’re new to Vietnamese dishes , i would recommend when order noodle you can order big bowl and share between 2 of you . I’m sure you can’t finish a big bowl because it’s huge . Highly recommended!!!
Food is amazing, massive portions, large variety, fresh high quality ingredients. Service is incredible from when you walk in, to when you finally decide to leave, staff look after you. They are very attentive, courteous and polite. Make you feel right at home. Atmosphere is pleasent and comfortable. I love the decor and the lights are hypnotic. I could sit there all night Overall nothing but good things can be said about this gem. Thank you
If you want Vietnamese food in Liverpool then this is the place to go. It’s been my favourite place to visit whenever I wanted a taste of home. I’ve tried quite a few of their dishes though I always end up eating the Mien Ga. I also successfully managed to get their Banh Cuon which is always sold out whenever I’ve tried and honestly no regrets. We ordered the small portion for our soup noodles, but there is a bigger size if you’re down for a challenge (or just have a bigger appetite in general).
The Vietnamese coffee was delicious and the beef for even though it said it was a small portion was very very reasonably sized. The bean sprouts, coriander and chilli came on the side so could add what you wanted for flavour. The waitress was very friendly! :)
I’ve been to Doux Chaton many times. Every time friends visit Liverpool, I always recommend this place. The food is fresh, tasty, and has a authentic Vietnamese flavour. The pho is big and delicious. The staff are friendly and efficiency. There are also great vegan options. Always a good experience.
This place is amazing!! The food is really, really good. They have several vegan options and they are delicious. I tried the Bahn mi and the noodle salad and love them both. I came to eat here three out of the five days in Liverpool so that says enough ...
